A Hemi For Heroes
THE PRIUSRT8'S STORY SO FAR
After being featured on Jay Leno’s Garage, raced on Detroit’s Woodward Ave during Roadkill Nights, put on display at the New York Auto Show and being driven in the car pool lane (because it’s a Prius), the team at American Racing Headers and their well-known PriuSRT8 has now traveled away from the shores of the Red, White and Blue to the car crazy country of Kuwait, in the Middle East. Why you may ask? Because it was time to share the overwhelming joy that ONLY a Hellcat powered Prius can bring about with our service men and women at Camp Arifjan, a massive US Army base with over 16000 service members, from four different branches. You heard that right! We’re visiting our troops!
A HEMI FOR HEROES
The name of the event is “A Hemi For Heroes” and on January 12, ARH will roll into the base for a full day of fun with the PriuSRT8. With our military themed livery combined with the comedy on display everywhere you look, (and 1100 Hellcat powered horsepower under the hood), the PriuSRT8 is sure to generate some great laughs and lasting memories for our troops. There will be tire smoking burnouts and a big barbeque to add to the festivities.
We can’t be prouder to have this rare opportunity to give something back, and we’re doing it 7000 miles away from home! For the American Racing Headers team, nothing we’ve done in the past can measure up to this, and we’re extremely grateful to those that helped clear the way for the A Hemi For Heroes event.
