Browell Bellhousing, Tremec & Tom Goldman Race Cars
Our bellhousing from Browell arrived and there’s simply nothing out there that even comes close. Their accuracy is well documented amongst the racing community and after working through the custom dimension we wanted for this build, the Browell team fabricated this gem! We deliberately ordered it without the powder coating that comes standard to prevent nick’s and scratches during the mock up process. With surgery required to the floors to clear the Tremec 6 Speed, much of the powder coating will come right before final assembly. We highly recommend Browell Bellhousings when only the best will do!
Our Tremec 6 Speed mock up case arrived courtesy of the fine folks Silver Sport Transmissions. There’s no question, having a Tremec 6 Speed will take the fun factor to a whole new level. We’ve learned just how durable the T56 Magnum is on our 1100HP PriuSRT8. It’s also an absolute joy cruising in. There was no other option we’d consider for The Great American. Bolted up to our new Browell Bellhousing, The Tremec looks like it’s ready for whatever we throw at it. The Great American will run mid 10’s all day, but it’ll also see a lot of long distance highway cruising.
Tom Goldman is busy working away with the factory rear wheel tubs. Sectioning and widening to make space for our 28” x 10.5” Mickey Thompson ET Street SS with a level of craftmanship few possess. Tom knows AMC’s and his handy work will be on display with the entire rear suspension, floor and trans tunnel fabrication and driveline placement.
