2021 Jeep Trackhawk

Hear us out here... 850 horsepower in an SUV! No, this isn't a dream. This is very much real life with the latest Speed Society giveaway SSG 34! It seems like the crew over at FCA is intent on shoving their 707 horsepower Hellcat-inspired drivetrain in just about everything and thus, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk was born. For the heavy-duty SUV, they also decided to throw in some six-piston Brembo brake calipers up front and four-piston calipers in the rear. Last but not least, the Trackhawk offers an electrically assisted steering system that makes this thing handle like it thinks it doesn't realize it's 5,000 lbs.

This monster machine does everything a high-performance car does and then some. Not only does the Sting Gray 2021 Jeep lay down the law, but it also feels like a luxury machine. This certainly isn't a Jeep of old with features like heated and ventilated seats, a kickin' 10-speaker sound system, and a state-of-the-art infotainment system.
Now let's get to the best part.

Under The Hood

Here at Speed Society, we can't just send our winner home with something that's factory stock so we decided to turn up the intensity on this Trackhawk to the tune of 850 horsepower. Engines work best when air gets in and out as easily as possible. To facilitate, we find a Leg Maker Carbon Fiber Intake to help the engine really breathe. Once the magic of combustion is done, exhaust gasses escape efficiently thanks to ARH long tube headers and a full exhaust. Complete the picture with the help of a pinned ATI crank damped with 10% OD, a gates green belt, and 160-degree thermostat and we have a machine that's capable of big power without the clunkiness that high horsepower builds can tend to have. In fact, our Trackhawk drives almost as if it just left the factory, that is, unless you lean into the long, skinny pedal.

Tuning

One of the key components of any build is being able to get the tune just right. This is what stands between an ok build and one that really screams. With Brenton Brown from Forza behind the keyboard, the Forza Tuning custom engine management calibration tuns this Jeep into an entirely different animal. We also include the HP Tuners Unlocked PCM and Smart Access Cable just in case you want to modify further and update your tune files. So when it comes to getting this beast to run just right we have hours logged back and forth with Brenton from Forza Tuned to make sure this Trackhawk is running at it's highest potential in every aspect of driving. From launching, to normal street driving to freeway pulls. Everything has been accounted for and is ready to crush any competition that pulls up next to it looking for a fight.
